I’m Chevone, co-owner of Pearl & Root in Medford, Oregon. With a background in marketing and a lifelong love for beauty and wellness, I wanted to create a space that goes beyond surface-level self-care. Pearl & Root was built with intention to be a place where you can slow down, restore balance, and leave feeling truly radiant. Our specialty is Japanese-inspired head spa treatments that combine scalp therapy with deep relaxation. These services support healthy hair growth, ease tension, and help melt away stress, leaving you refreshed and renewed. Alongside scalp care, we also offer professional teeth whitening and wellness services so you can feel confident in your glow. For me, Pearl & Root is more than a spa, it’s an experience. Every detail is designed to help you feel calm, cared for, and restored. I believe self-care should feel like a necessity you look forward to, not just a luxury reserved for special occasions. Crystal Dobson
I grew up in sunny San Diego, where my love for wellness and entrepreneurship first began. In 2019, I was honored to be named Business Owner of the Year, a recognition that affirmed my passion for creating meaningful client experiences. After relocating to Southern Oregon, I embraced family life and, during late-night feedings with my son, I discovered the incredible world of head spa services popular in Asia. I knew immediately this was something our community needed, and that vision became Pearl & Root—a luxury spa dedicated to balance, beauty, and restoration. I’m also a proud mom of two and deeply devoted to my role as a mother. Alongside my spa, I run a nonprofit supporting birth work, with a special focus on helping families through postpartum transitions. My work at Pearl & Root centers on women’s wellness, with a particular passion for supporting those experiencing postpartum and menopausal hair loss.
Malissa Nigrelli
Malissa — Advanced Esthetician & Beauty Professional Born and raised in beautiful Southern Oregon, Malissa brings a lifetime of local heart and over a decade of hands-on expertise to every service she provides. As an Advanced Esthetician and successful business owner, she’s known for her meticulous technique, love of luxury skincare, and commitment to helping clients look and feel their absolute best. When she’s not in the treatment room, Malissa is a devoted mom of three—two boys and one girl—balancing family life with her passion for beauty and wellness. She’s also a proud Frenchie bulldog mom, a sports enthusiast, and a self-professed Dior lover, bringing that same mix of elegance and energy to her professional work. Her clients describe her as genuine, detail-oriented, and results-driven—a trusted esthetician who blends advanced technique with authentic care.
